On September 4 at 10.00 a.m. a briefing on the topic: "Conducting an environmental campaign “Forest Week-2018" with the participation of R.A. Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, will be held in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the briefing, it is planned to sum up the results of the Ministry's activity for 8 months of the current year.

Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, told journalists about the creation of a "green belt" around the city of Kazan and other large cities, designed for 2019-2020 in the course of the report in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. "According to the May decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, concerning the creation of "green belts" around the cities, work is being done in all regions, proposals are being prepared. Regulations will be worked out for such forests, these will be protective forests that will be under the protection of forest inspectors", Ravil Kuzyurov outlined.

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a briefing on the topic "Carrying out an environmental campaign "Forest Week-2018", within the framework of which the results of the activities of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan for 8 months of this year were summed up.

On the eve of the professional holiday of foresters "Day of Forest Workers" (September 16) the republican environmental campaign "Forest Week - 2018" will start in Tatarstan. It will be held on September 8-14. During the coming week, foresters plan to conduct such activities as: harvesting of solid household waste and wood waste in the forest fund, conducting environmental lessons in general education institutions, improving recreation facilities in the forest fund, harvesting seed-bearing raw materials, installing additional posts and banners near federal and republican roads. A total of 132 events are planned. Within the framework of "Forest Week-2018" there will be a sanitary-ecological cleaning of forest territories. Cleaning of the forest on Dubravnaya Street will be held on September 11 at 16.00. Everyone can take the initiative and make the forest cleaner.

The campaign "Single day of forest planting" is planned for October 6, 2018. The central event will be held in the Staroye Shigaleevo village in Pestrechinsky district of Tatarstan. It is planned to plant 40 thousand seedlings of coniferous species in the territory of 10 hectares. The event will involve 2,000 people. Every inhabitant can come and plant his tree. Everyone will be provided with inventory and planting material. Mass planting of trees on October 6 will be held throughout the country. It is planned to plant more than 1.3 million seedlings on the area of ​​more than 300 hectares in the autumn campaign in Tatarstan.

On the celebratory assembly the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, congratulated students and teachers of the college with the beginning of the academic year on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov. The message says: "The Day of Knowledge is a holiday for everyone, regardless of age and social status, nationality and religion". On his own behalf, the Minister wished future foresters successful study in the premises of the renovated Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College. "The profession of a forester is very important and significant. I wish the students diligent studies so that you please your teachers with successes"- said Ravil Kuzyurov. Thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, all conditions for the educational process and comfortable living were created in the college.

The celebratory assembly was also attended by the Head of the Kukmorsky municipal district Sergei Dimitriev. "Students of the Lubyanskiy College have made significant progress in various competitions and the World Skills Championship. It says a lot. This means - our future is in safe hands. Successes to you in everything!"- said Sergey Dimitriev.

Director of the educational institution, Rim Fakhraziev, told the first-year students how much in recent years the Lubyankiy College has done to train specialists in the forestry sector.

With the aim of suppressing violations of forest legislation in the territory of Tatarstan, the staff of SPI "Privolzhskiy Forest District" together with the employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid on checking the accompanying documents for transportation of timber and sawn timber in the framework of Lesovoz Operation at the stationary post of Malinovka Road Patrol Service.

During the raid, five vehicles carrying timber and lumber were inspected. In total for 8 months of this year, 23 administrative cases have been drawn up within the framework of the Interdepartmental Operational-Prevention Action "Lesovoz" in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, according to the schedule, an auction was held to sell the right to conclude a contract for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses. In total, 105 lots were placed from 7 forest districts: Privolzhskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Kaibitskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Arskiy and Leninogorskiy.

With the only participants of the auction, a protocol on the results of the auction is signed and contracts for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses will be concluded ten days after the date of publication of information on the results of the auction on the official auction site and no later than twenty days after the day of the auction.

The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, inspected the State Public Institution “Bavlinskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Bavlinskiy Forestry Enterprise”. Ramil Gatiyatullin, Head of the Bavlinskiy municipal district, also took part in the inspection of the facilities.

Ravil Kuzyurov examined the forestry office, the woodworking workshops, forest cutting areas with a small complex brigade, got acquainted with the quality of reforestation works carried out in 2018. Also, a forest nursery was inspected.

Ravil Kuzyurov drew attention to the quality of the forest nursery and wished the staff of forestry efficiency and fruitfulness in their further work. In the spring forestry period, 35 hectares of pine seedlings were planted in the forest fund of the Bavlinskiy forest district.

After inspecting the facilities, the Minister held a meeting with the staff of forest district and forestry enterprise, introduced his suggestions and comments.

Today in the building of the State Budgetary Institution "Bavlinskiy Forestry Enterprise" the solemn opening of the memorial plaque to the Hero of the Soviet Union Gavril Petrovich Evsyeev took place. He worked for several years as a wood chopper in the Bavlinskiy forestry enterprise.

Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, Head of the Bavlinskiy municipal district Ramil Gatiyatullin, veterans of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Bavlinskiy forest district, daughter of the Hero Nina Gavrilovna attended the solemn ceremony.

A native resident of Potapovo-Tumbarla village, commander of a battalion of the mortar regiment, lived and worked in his native region after the war, worked for many years occupying serious positions: in the executive committee of the district council, as a chairman of the collective farm "Pobeda", then in the forestry enterprise. Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov expressed gratitude to all those who supported the initiative of opening the memorial plaque to the Hero. He also spoke about the state of the forestry sector in the modern world, raised questions of succession of generations.

"The fact that a man without a forest profession worked as a forester - characterizes him only from a positive angle, he loved nature and his native land. It is a great honor for the forestry enterprise that the Hero of the Soviet Union worked with us. And for me it's a great honor that I am present at this event. For the younger generation for edification - be proud, take an example. I would like the participants of school forestry and schoolchildren to visit more often the forestry enterprise, and see how this person loved the forest and his native land on the example of this life history", Ravil Kuzyurov noted.

Gavril Evseyev fought in the Western, 2nd and 1st Belarusian, 3rd and 1st Baltic fronts. He was wounded four times. He was particularly distinguished in the course of the Berlin strategic operation. He ended the war in Berlin as a Commander of the Artillery Division in the rank of major.

By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 31, 1945, for the exemplary performance of combat missions of the command at the front of the struggle against the German invaders and shown with courage and heroism, Evseyev Gavril Petrovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal. In addition, he was awarded two Orders of the Battle Red Banner, Orders of the Patriotic War of 2nd degree, Red Star and eight medals.

The foresters of the republic started preparing the soil for forest crops of 2019. The specialists of Zelenodolskiy, Kaibitskiy, Kamskiy, Kzyl-Yulduzskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Prigorodnyi, Sabinskiy and Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprises began to conduct this work. The preparation of the forest site for the creation of forest cultures is carried out in order to create conditions for the qualitative performance of all subsequent technological operations. Works on soil preparation in 2018 are planned on the area of ​​1,495 hectares.
