On May 12, 2018 at 10.00 a.m., within the framework of the republican environmental campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan" a united day of forest areas cleaning-up will take place with the participation of Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The central action is planned in Vysokogorskiy district forestry, block 89, near Vysokaya Gora village.

The traditional environmental campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan - 2018" is held from April 25 to June 25 and from September 15 to November 15. State forestry officials, the Republic of Tatarstan Prosecutor's Office, employees of ministries, departments, judicial bodies, representatives of the public will take part in forest areas cleaning.

The traditional campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan" is one of the significant and large-scale events held at the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan in two stages - in spring and autumn, gaining increasing popularity among the population. The purpose of this campaign is to maintain a favorable sanitary condition of forests, as well as to attract public attention to environmental issues.

A great influence on the sanitary condition of forests in recent years has been made by increasing recreational impact, as a result of which forests are polluted with household waste.

This campaign contributes to the balanced socio-economic development of the republic and the realization of the constitutional rights of citizens to a favorable environment.

It should be noted that last year, about 29,000 residents of the republic took part in the event to clean up forests from clutter. Active participants carried out cleaning along roads and federal and regional roads, collected solid waste, dead wood and fallen trees. The volume of garbage collected amounted to 4,175 m3. In addition, 157 informational and recreational objects: boards, nameplates, arbors for recreation, located in the forest fund and along motor roads, were renovated within the framework of the campaign, 21 springs were cleared and landscaped.

Pure forests are a guarantee of health, a pledge of our future! It is much more pleasant to inhale fresh air and admire the bright colors of the forest. Preserving the forest for millennia is not difficult, one small step - and the forest has been preserved for many years.

Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, inspected the State Public Institution "Laishevskiy Forest District" and the State Budgetary Institution "Laishevskiy Forestry Enterprise".

Ravil Kuzyurov inspected "Laishevo" fire chemical stations of II type and III type, offices of district forestry, production workshops for woodworking, as well as forest nursery.

Ravil Kuzyurov drew attention to the quality of the forest nursery and wished the forestry staff efficiency and fruitfulness in their further work.

Currently, more than 200 thousand pieces of Siberian larch seedlings, 380 thousand pieces of European spruce seedlings, 250 thousand pieces of Pinus sylvestris pine grow in the nursery of the Pestrechinskiy district of the State Budgetary Institution "Laishevskiy Forestry Enterprise", which will replenish the forest fund of Tatarstan next year.

In the nursery of the Laishevskiy site, saplings of horse chestnut, spruce blue, common mountain ash, western arborvitae, red oak are cultivated, which are used as ornamental plants for planting cities and settlements of our republic.

Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the ceremony of wreaths laying at the Eternal Flame in the memorial complex "Combat and Labor Glory" of the Muslyumovskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Ramil Mullin, Head of the Muslyumovskiy District, awarded the medals "For Valiant Labor" to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. He also sincerely congratulated veterans and guests of the holiday on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the Great Victory Day and expressed his best wishes. By the way, thousands of Muslyumovo residents and guests of the district came to the Eternal Flame to bow to the fallen and pay respects to the veterans. The Victory Parade united not only Muslumovo, but also the Republic, as well as the whole country.

We learn a lot from you, we are trying to be equal to you in our deeds and aspirations and will do everything to take the relay to multiply the glory of fathers and grandfathers.

The Minister visited every front worker in order to personally congratulate on the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. These people have worked in forestry for many years, dedicating their entire lives to this field. Mikhail Filimonov, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, is among them. When the war came, he was only 12 years old. From an early age, he leads working activities, for which he received a medal for valorous work in the Great Patriotic War. Aleksandra Meleshina, front worker, was employed at the Ministry for 40 years as an Economist. Gusman Ibragimov, front worker, retired from 1989, was awarded with a medal for valorous labor in the Great Patriotic War.

Also Ravil Kuzyurov visited the honored forestry worker of Russia and Tatarstan, Professor Ahmadulla Gazizullin. He is one of the initiators of the opening in 2000 in Kazan of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology at the Kazan State Agricultural Academy. The Minister talked with the workers of the home front, listened to their requests and promised to fulfill them. Each of them was given presents on behalf of the Ministry.

On May 8, within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, foresters of Tatarstan together with law enforcement bodies conducted a raid. As part of this event, the forest rangers patrolled the territory of the forest fund to identify the location of unauthorized landfills in order to prevent violations of forest legislation. Also forest sites were examined for compliance with fire safety rules in the forests.

In particular, in Zelenodolskiy district, special attention was paid to the dacha societies bordering with the forest fund. Now the summer season starts, therefore, preventive work is carried out primarily with them. During the raid in Zelenodolskiy region, two violations of forest legislation were revealed; the guilty persons were brought to administrative responsibility.

Penalties for violation of fire safety regulations range from 1500 to 3000 rubles per citizen, and in the conditions of a special fire regime - 4000-5000 rubles. Officials are fined in the amount of 10 to 20 thousand rubles, and in the conditions of a special fire regime - up to 50 thousand rubles.

By the way, last year in the forests of Tatarstan, more than 7 thousand cubic meters of garbage were collected and transported, more than 200 name plates were installed, 186 persons were brought to administrative responsibility, and fines in the amount of 490 thousand rubles were imposed.

It is necessary that each person takes care of the environment. Entering the forest, one should feel personal responsibility, should not allow littering in the forest.

This event was held throughout the republic.

In Sabinskiy municipal district, work on ravine protective forest plantations laying has started. In particular, these plantations are created by planting material with a closed root system, which was grown in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2018, pine trees, European spruce, Siberian larch, birch dowel, acacia yellow are used to create these plantations.

Spring is the most optimal period for the laying of protective forest stands. In 2018 in the Republic of Tatarstan, it is planned to lay 1,800 hectares of ravine plantations, 300 hectares of sheltered plantations and 60 hectares of water protective forest plantations.

On May 5, 2018 in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 862-r of April 14, 2018, it is planned to hold a traditional environmental campaign " Forest planting day".

The campaign will traditionally take place in all forest districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the suburbs of Kazan, three sites for planting were identified (Vysokogorskiy municipal district, near Shcherbakovo village of and near "Blue Lakes” reserve, one site - in Laishevskiy municipal district, near Voronovka village). The event will start at 09:00 a.m. The place for participants gathering in Prigorodnyi Forest District is indicated on the maps.

The purpose of this campaign is not only the reproduction and multiplication of the forest resources of the republic, but also upbringing careful attitude towards the forest, attraction of public attention to the problems of its preservation, improvement of the ecological situation.

A delegation of foresters from the Republic of Tuva visited the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit. Within the framework of this trip, colleagues got acquainted with the activities of Arskiy Forestry Enterprise on cultivation of planting material in hothouse conditions. Colleagues from the Republic of Tuva highly appreciated the work of the nursery farm in Arskiy Forestry Enterprise.

In St. Petersburg at the age of 86 the Ex-Chairman of the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of Forestry Branches of the Republic of Tatarstan died suddenly (he headed the committee for more than 20 years)

IONOV VASILIY YAKOVLEVICH.

Vasiliy Yakovlevich passed a glorious way of life. He started his trade-union activity in the 80s of the last century, when he was elected as a Chairman of the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of Forestry Branches of the TASSR (Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). He personally participated in the trade union activities of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, forest districts, forestry enterprises and logging enterprises.

Vasiliy Yakovlevich took an active position in life: together with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, he worked to protect and defend the interests of workers in the industry.

The merits of Ionov Vasiliy Yakovlevich are rightfully marked by high departmental and trade union awards.
