The meeting considered the review prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issues of anti-corruption policy based on the analysis of information submitted by the government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities in the Republic of Tatarstan on the implementation of anti-corruption measures in the first half of 2017. They also examined the information of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of the conducted analysis of the supervision practice over the implementation of anti-corruption legislation in the Republic of Tatarstan for the expired period of 2017, and the results of a sociological survey on the topic: "A public opinion poll on the state of corruption in the Ministry."

Within the framework of the Year of Ecology in the city of Kazan, an international conference on "Clean Water" is conducting in the premises of Exhibition Centre "Kazan Fair". The First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov, took part in this forum. Bedertdinov noted: "Considering the annual volumes of reforestation and afforestation in the republic, we have the opportunity to realize planting stock in other regions of the Russian Federation. As concerns protective afforestation, more than 2 thousand hectares of anti-erosion protective forest stands are created annually by foresters in the Republic of Tatarstan. Along with the maintenance of water protection and soil protection functions of forests, it is necessary to continue work on afforestation of water protection zones of small rivers, creation of ravine-girder protective plantations, protective and roadside forest belts. Currently the total area of such plantations comprises more than 57 thousand hectares. At present, according to the estimates of the Ministry, the area of lands requiring the creation of water protective stands amounts to more than 7 thousand hectares. In case of adequate funding availability, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is ready to carry out work on the laying of water protective stands. For this purpose, the necessary equipment, the appropriate assortment and the amount of planting material are available in the subordinate institutions of the Ministry"..

A seminar-meeting on the topic “Logging of veneer stock from improvement cutting. Sustainable crosscutting and scaling” was held in the premises of State Budgetary Institution “Kzyl-Yulduzskiy Forestry Enterprise”. Directors of 13 forestry divisions, logging foremen, Harvester operators, forest loggers participated in the event. Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K.Gumerov and Deputy Head of Forestry Department of PFMK, LLC V.G.Starygin spoke to the audience.

From November 25 to 29, 2017, the regional stage of the WorldSkills Russia Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Kazan. In the premises of the Kazan Construction College, two-year students of the Lubyanskiy Forest Engineering College (Ruslan Zaitsev and Maksim Yanusik) competed for the title of the best in the field of "Landscape Design". Our team competed with the students of Kazan Construction College, Chistopol Agricultural College and Arsk Agro-Industrial College.

By the instructions of the Championship, the contestants built a wall-flower bed of lego-bricks, a retaining wall made of natural stone, several types of paving, and they planted trees and shrubs and flower-ornamental plants. All the modules needed to be executed, taking into account the elevation marks and observing the safety precautions. According to the results of the competition, the guys took 1st place. Congratulations on their victory! Let us note that the students of the Lubyanskiy Forest Engineering College are the winners and prize-winners of the last year's competitions. A worthy team was prepared by trainers - Serazetdinov Nail Vakifovich and Serazetdinova Natalia Mikhailovna. Now the children will have to pass the next stage of the competition - the qualifying round for participation in the national championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia), which will be held in 2018 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. A meeting with the participation of representatives of the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District, Federal State Budgetary Institution Roslesinforg and their affiliates - the Kazan branch and Moslesproject branch, the MTU of the Federal Property Management Agency in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ulyanovsk region, the Tatar inter-district nature protection prosecutor's office, Kazan environmental prosecutor's office, Administration of the Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadaster and Cartography in the Republic of Tatarstan, forestry divisions, was held in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held in order to accelerate and improve the quality of work related to the state cadaster registration of forest fund lands.

The year of 2017 -the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan, is coming to an end. In the Agryzskiy district, a lot of work was done on the greening of the city, villages; open lessons, numerous campaigns were conducted.

The specialists of the forestry department together with the school forestry "Green Army" ofSarsak-Omginsky Lyceum conducted an action "Bird Paradise". During the live dialogue, the children asked questions about the forest, birds, animals, and the head of the school forestry Vasilyeva Galina prepared an entertaining and interesting material about wintering birds in the Agryzskiy distrcit. There were funny scenes about birds, quizzes, riddles. The most active children of the State Public Institution "Agryzskiy Forestry Establishment" were awarded with diplomas and commemorative prizes. The event continued in the schoolyard, where the children hung out the feeding boxes on the trees and spread out the food for the birds.

The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan announces about the auction for the sale of the right to conclude a contract for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses which is planned to be held on December 5, 2017. Preservation of natural forests at present is more urgent than ever. In the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Leskhozskiy secondary education school" in the Arskiydistrict, in order to attract the attention of the students to the need of forests reproduction with the help of seeds, an environmental campaignon collection of pine cones "Harvest of the Forest" was held. The schoolchildren of 1-11 formsparticipated there. In total, 1848kg of cones were collected. Think about this number. It is rather small in terms of arithmetic: but how many thousands, millions of seeds in these kilograms! The schoolchildren have made a significant contribution to the creation of forests of the future. Leaders among the forms were 1 form (307 kg), 9 form (190 kg), 7 form (351 kg). It would be great to continue this kind and useful tradition of collecting cones in the future.

Last weekend in Stolbischenskiy district forestry, in cooperation with the volunteers of the public organization, an ecological clean-up was held in the form of an exciting game - the quest "Traces of presence". By joint efforts in the ninth quarter of the Stolbischenskiy district forestry, about 8 cubic meters of solid household waste were collected by enthusiasts. This project is aimed at increasing people's awareness of the environment, and it allows the participants to contribute to the protection of the environment. We thank everyone for their active participation and indifferent attitude to nature!

Today, the Minister Almas Nazirov held a meeting with the delegation of forestry of the North-Kazakhstan region in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The purpose of their visit is the exchange of experience and mutual cooperation. Currently, the specialists of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of Akimat of the North-Kazakhstan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan are studying the introduction of methods for growing planting material with a closed root system and further planting in the forest fund. During the conversation, the Minister acquainted Kazakh colleagues with the forestry activities of Tatarstan, including the work of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of Sabinsky district, where 12 million seedlings with closed root system are grown annually. In turn, the Kazakh representatives told about their forest resources. The total area of their forest fund is 550 thousand hectares where 430 thousand hectares are covered with forest. Basically in the forests of the North-Kazakhstan region birch - 88% and pine at 6% predominate.

In general, during the meeting, promising areas of interaction between the parties and opportunities for further cooperation were discussed, after which the delegation went to the Forest Selection and Seed Center of RT for further acquaintance with the experience of growing the planting material with a closed root system.
