The delegation of the Turkish company headed by Tayfik Dedebash – the representative of the Board of Directors of LLC “Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry” visited the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of wood supply to the plant of LLC “Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry” in 2017.

According to the Ministry for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Response of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan on November 3 to November 4, 2016 a mix of snow and rain, a blizzard with visibility reduced to 1000 meters and less, ice condition of roads, strong gusting wind up to 15-17 meters per second are expected in the republic. In this regard, the Regional Dispatch Control Station at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan operates 24 hours a day.

Tomorrow, November 4, 2016, the employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in a mass meeting and concert dedicated to the Day of National Unity. The event will be held at Kremlyovskaya Embankment, opposite the garden square of the Palace of Farmers.

There are two weeks to the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” completion. As of today, more than 1600 people took part in the cleaning of forests. The active partners were 489 forest tenants, 161 companies and 21 garden and dacha associations. The participants have cleared and removed from the territory of the forest reserve and specially protected natural reservation 1102.2 m3 of solid and other wastes. Moreover, along highways and federal and regional routes 694.4 m3 of dead wood and fallen trees have collected and removed.

On October 31, 2016 in the Federation Council Committee for Agrarian and Food Policy and Use of Natural Resources (Moscow) a roundtable “Legal problems of using and protection of lands of specially protected natural reservations and facilities” under the chairmanship of Lisovski S.F. was held.

The members of the Federation Council, the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the representatives of the federal executive and judicial bodies, executive bodies of the constituents of the Russian Federation, academic institutions and experts took part in the meeting. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Principal Adviser of the Department of Biodiversity of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Yusupova R.R.

The reports of the round table covered the issues related to the problems of use and protection of lands of specially protected natural reservations, health and recreation areas and resorts, federal and regional cultural heritage sites. Following the meeting, the draft recommendation was drawn up. It will be directed to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and the Government of the Russian Federation.

In one of the wooded areas of Almetyevsky District the team of the school forestry unit “SPEKTR” of Staromikhaylovskaya Secondary School arranged an event “Revival of oak forests of Tatarstan”. The children gathered acorns which totaled 175 kg. The event was held in the form of nature tour in which 13 children, the head of school forestry unit Gaifutdinov R.M. and representatives of Almetyevskoye Forestry took part. The aim of the lesson was to enhance and preserve the forest wealth of the Republic of Tatarstan. The activists believe that the work on acorn collecting will not remain fruitless. From the fruits of oak new trees will grow and delight for the eye of villagers.

Staromikhaylovskaya Secondary School engages in the goal-oriented business with Almetyevskoye Forestry starting 2001. To implement the process of formation of environmental value system of schoolchildren the work of the adolescents themselves is important and effective. The team of school forestry unit “SPEKTR” was established in 2005. The name of the team is not accidental and means: S – specially, P – prepared, E – environmental, K – team of, T – talented, R – children. The members and the number of members of the unit are constantly changing. The school teacher of Technology and Fundamentals of Health and Safety Ramil Gaifutdinov runs the team.

The members of school forestry unit take part with great pleasure in various traditional events and competitions which play an undeniable role in fostering love and care to native land, careful attitude to nature of their village. Children look forward to new meetings with forestry workers, with great desire wait for an opportunity to show care and contribute to the preservation of the ecology of the native area.

In the Republic of Tatarstan the traditional environmental campaign “The Day of Tree Planting” which has been held in all municipal districts of Tatarstan came to an end. The campaign was aimed not only at the reproduction and augmentation of forest resources of the republic, but also at fostering careful attitude to the forest, at drawing public attention to the problems of its conservation, improvement of living environment of people. More than 30 thousand residents of the republic took part in the campaign. More than 2 million units of different planting stock (spruce, pine, birch, lime and shrubs) have been planted. As part of the campaign there were ceremonial events to establish the commemorative plantings. The representatives of authorities, enterprises, state-financed and commercial organizations, students and pupils were involved in young tree planting.

Subject to the Federal Law No.455-FZ “On Amendments Being Made to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation in Terms of Better Regulation of Forest Protection against Pests” came into force on October 1, 2016, on the website of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan http://minleshoz.tatarstan.ru/rus/lesopatologicheskie-obsledovaniya.htm there is a section where the Reports of Forest Pathology Survey are posted on the basis of which the sanitary felling and other sanitary measures are scheduled. From these registers citizens may know the reasons for cutting trees in the forest area of ​​interest and to compare the data in the report with their own observations. If there are the report inconsistencies with the actual situation, citizens may submit a request to the online reception of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan or to the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District. Many residents of our republic are conscious about the legality of sanitary felling, justification of the sanitary felling that is perfectly valid, and in forestry, as well as in any other industry, the errors and abuse of some officials occur.

Now, the Forest Pathology Survey Report will be published in a three-day period starting the date of making it on the site of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within 20 days upon the Forest Pathology Survey Report publication date, the implementation of measures provided for by the Report to fight against pest foci, including sanitary felling, is strictly prohibited.

In addition, the above said federal law provides for the public participation in the monitoring of sanitary measures and their implementation.

The specialists of Zeya Buylary Nature Sanctuary gave an open lesson “Autumn Environmental Protection” in the Secondary School named after Academician R.Z. Sagdeev. The purpose of the lesson is to give grounding in environmental protection in autumn; educate for picking mushrooms, berries, and nuts; familiarize with the rules of conduct in relation to the migratory and hibernating birds, the animals of forest and park in the pre-winter period. At the end of the lesson the specialists of Zeya Buylary Nature Sanctuary solidified the children’s knowledge by conducting test.

The specialists of Ashit Nature Sanctuary together with the teachers of the daycare center gave an environmental lesson to kids of Arsky Daycare Center No.2. With the riddles and tales, in an intelligible and game form the children were told about nature and careful attitude to the environment. At the end of the event they were given a treat – the gifts of autumn. The teachers were awarded diplomas of the nature sanctuary and books published by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
