Senior Adviser in forest nursery of Swedish company BBC AB which is also supply manufacturing machinery for Forest selecting-seed center in Republic of Tatarstan in Sabinskii forestry, Stellan Karlsson made a set of lectures and seminars for its specialists. On his lectures which were taking place in studying classes of the center they discussed questions of high quality seeding, certification and different aspects of work in growing ball-rooted planting stock.

The members of the commission headed by First Deputy Minister Kh. Musin listened to the reports of Principal Adviser of Department of Licensing in         Environmental Protection Agency RT Y. Pavlov and the professor, Head of Chair in ecological faculty of Povolzhskii Federal University T. Rogova, they also came to a decision in different questions.

In a live program on site planetpics.ru there will be discussed actual questions not only with the participants of Forum but with people who know forest from different sides. Those are bloggers and photographers. During two and a half months on the special page of site planetpics.ru there will be posted thematic videos and articles, led contests, discussed actual problems and so on. At the end of the project there will be awarded a grant 300 000 rubble for the most interesting scientific research in the forest topic.

0n 27th of February in Moscow in exhibition center “Crocus Expo” is going to happen all-Russian Forum of forest sector members with the support of Government of the Russian Federation.

In the frames of Forum there will be a plenary meeting under topic “The future of forest sector in Russia: federal and regional perspectives” on which will give out their reports Vice-Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation A.V. Dvorkovich, the representatives of The State Duma, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency of Forestry, the representatives of regions, wood enterprises, science and non-governmental organizations.

The members of reserved forestry told about wintering birds and how important for birds our help. The most important is that they gave to the students master-class on making bird nesting boxes and bird tables.

These meetings aroused great participant interest and they asked to make such kind of meetings with the members of forestry regularly.

The Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev made a meeting “Preventative measures for breaches and administrative offence in the sphere of wood exploitation on the territory of Republic of Tatarstan”. In the work of meeting took part the Prosecutor of Kazan environmental prosecutor's office O. Daminov and the Prosecutor of interregional environmental prosecutor's office I. Gilmutdinov. In the reports of Prosecutors there were given an evaluation to state forestry control, supervision and protection of forest fund in state forest authorities. During the inspection under supervision of Kazan environmental prosecutor's office, forest land tenants answered to obligations which they had to do by law. The main attention was to the fire protection and sanitary state of forest.

Remarks which were given at the meeting will be taken into consideration at the summarizing of the forest actions in 2012.

18 teams from 12 forestry branches went on a start of competitive skiing which took place on the territory of sport club “Olimpiets”. Among 150 skiers of working and studying youth, the students of Lubyanskii Forestry College were one of the best.

Dmitrii Kiznetsov and Ivan Alekseev got II place in different age categories and Adelina Terentieva got III place among women.

The winners were prized by sport implements with symbolic of International Summer Universiade.

This not very easy task is trying to solve the heads and specialists of forestry. During February they were visiting village schools and schools which are located near forest habitation. The foresters held special forest lessons told the graduates about their profession and about the changes which are happening in the forestry of Tatrstan nowadays. They also gave the information where, in what colleges the graduates can get the profession of forester.

Every Spring the personnel department of the Ministry of Forestry form the lists of school leavers for Kazan State Agricultural University and Lubyanskii Forestry College for entering to these educational institutions in a contract system. Every school leaver together with their parent and the heads of forestry has an interview with the Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev.

Ecological education of the younger generation became an essential part of work for the inspectors of state reserved forestry in Republic of Tatarstan. This year the questions of ecological education of young citizens have special importance. The specialists of reserved forestry “Stepnoi” visited day-care centers of Leninogorsk and held lessons under topic “Birds of forest”. Children with pleasure watched a film about animals got answers on their “serious questions” and at the end inspectors presented them colorful posters and calendars. These on the one hand simple but on the other hand useful lessons make an effective system of ecological education in day-care centers.

The Head of Sabinskii municipal region RT Rais Minnikhanov got acquainted the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russian Federation Sergei Donskoi and Chief Executive of Federal agency of water resources Mirina Seliverstova with one of the biggest in Europe center where they grow ball-rooted planting stock. The Minister of Forestry RT Nail Magdeev reported to S. Donskoi about the plans of forest restoration in Republic and about possibilities which are opened in Privolzhskii Federal district with the help of Forest selected-seed center.
