On behalf of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday ‒ Forest Workers Day!
The forest is the main natural wealth and national treasure that requires careful treatment. As part of the environment, forests perform a number of important water conservation, protective, economic and social functions and ensure the environmental safety of our country.
Behind each tree planted there is a titanic work of foresters, starting from harvesting seeds, growing seedlings, planting them and subsequent agrotechnical and silvicultural care. No wonder they say that a forester is not so much a profession as a state of mind. Only people with a big heart, those who sincerely love and care about the forest, can work in the forestry industry.
This year has turned out to be difficult for everyone. But thanks to high professionalism, responsibility and dedication to the common cause, we are able to successfully complete all the tasks.
This year, we achieved the main goal of the federal project “Forest Conservation” of the national project “Ecology”, ensuring the balance of forest disposal and reproduction in a ratio of 100%, were able to pass the fire hazardous season in forests without emergency situations and took the first steps to digitalize the forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Other silvicultural, forest protection and forestry works stipulated by the state assignment were also successfully completed. Thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, this year, the implementation of a program for the overhaul of buildings of subordinate institutions of the Ministry began, measures to support young specialists came into force and the level of wages of industry workers was significantly increased.
On this holiday, I sincerely thank you for your fruitful, creative work and contribution to the development of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan. I would like to express special words of gratitude to the veterans who have laid a solid foundation for the industry.
