Today, in the Sabinsky municipal district, a professional skills competition "The Best in Profession" was held among forestry workers. Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, head of the municipal district Rais Minnikhanov, rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev, acting Dean of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU Renat Gafiyatov, and others.
According to the terms of the competition, its participants were tested and completed several practical tasks in the field of forest protection, protection, and reproduction, forest taxation, work with fire-fighting equipment and a chainsaw, paperwork, etc.
The Best in Profession competition was held on the eve of Forest Workers Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday 19 September. As part of the event, an award ceremony was held for the distinguished specialists of the forestry complex of the region. The awards were presented by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, the head of the municipal district Rais Minnikhanov and the head-forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Sabinsky forestry" Vasil Gizzatullin.
"All of you have made a significant contribution to the achievement of the set goals and objectives this year," said Minister Ravil Kuzyurov, addressing those present. The winners of the "Best in Profession" competition were selected among foresters, foresters, district foresters, deputy foresters, harvester drivers, forwarder operators, drivers, beekeepers, and gamekeepers.
In the team competition, the places were distributed as follows: the team of the Forestry Seed Breeding and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan took the first place, the woodworking complex of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Educational and Experimental Forestry" took the second place, and the forest fire station of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Forest Fire Center" took the third place.
