Fire danger of the 4-5th class has been declared in forests of the Republic. The Head-forester of Aznakaevo forestry, I.R. Kashapov, the Head of the Department for the State Fire Supervision of Aznakaevo Municipal District, B.A. Shaykhutdinov, and the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan for Aznakaevo Municipal District, R.T. Khayrullin, held a briefing for journalists aimed at prevention of forest fires. The Head-foresters of Aznakaevo forestry, I.R. Kashapov told about the way the situation in forests of the Republic is controlled and addressed representatives of mass media on assistance in holding of informational and explanatory work in newspapers, on radio and TV.

The conferences “Relevant issues regarding reforestation in Russia” and “Russian oak forests” were opened with welcoming words of the host party – the Minster of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, N.G. Magdeev.  Nail Magdeev acknowledged that the region is one of the leading regions in Russia and among other things it is famous for increased attention to the ecological issues. Forest is a framework of ecology, and in Tatarstan special attention is paid to reforestation and caring for forests, while forestry of the Republic is primarily the territory of innovations.

The Head of Administration for forest use and reforestation, M.S. Doronin., greeted participants of the conference on behalf of the Federal Forestry Agency. He acknowledged that such meetings of scientists, as well as experts of education and practitioners are very important both for revelation of problem issues of forestry management in the Republic and for elaboration of efficient measures for its improvement.

According to the Head of the State Public Nature Reserve “Dolgaya Polyana”, Vasily Nikitin, “This plant has been entered into the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan. Upon counting we found 586 such plants.  It is a rare thing to see such an amount of plants growing on a small area. Almost all flowers are on the stage of blossoming and only some of them have already ceased to blossom. Seeds of this flower sprout badly, and those that spring blossom only in 8-10 years, and that’s why this plant enjoys such attention of experts”.

In the framework of the RRRCN program on color tagging of wild birds and the Agreement with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, an ornithologist Rinur Bekmansurov and experts of the nature reserve ringed 21 nestlings of white-tailed eagle.

The Head of Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan K.A. Nugaev and the Head of Kuralovskoe rural settlement S.S. Romanov took part in the ringing on the island “Spassky”.

The Federal Forestry Agency, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Budgetary Establishment “All-Russian Research Institute for Forest Management and Forestry Mechanization”, as well as the Federal Budgetary Establishment “Russian Center for Forest Protection” and the Federal Budgetary Establishment “Northern Forestry Research Institute” of Arkhangelsk are the organizers of the conference.

The conference is aimed at elaboration of suggestions on improvement of planning, organization and technological provision of the complex of events regarding reforestation and forest management in oak forests of Russia and Tatarstan after the plenary sitting and visiting of forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan. The plenary sitting will take place on June 4th at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, and on June 5th-6th participants of the conference will visit Saby and Kaybitsy forestries.

All in all, 316 students studying at 57 professional educational establishments from 25 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the All-Russian Correspondence Olympiad  in the category “Accounting”. Svetlana Zayceva, who was rated the 3rd at the Olympiad, was tutored by a teacher of Lubyany Forest and Engineering College, Tatyana Fakhrazieva.

In his telegram, V.I. Kashin expresses gratitude to the President of the Republic for comprehensive support and assistance in arranging of the visit of delegation of deputies of the State Duma FOR NATURAL RESOURCES, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND ECOLOGY to the Republic of Tatarstan. According to V. Kashin, the Committee acknowledged “unprecedentedly high level of event arrangement” and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, extension and strengthening of meaningful cooperation aimed at improvement of natural resources and nature protection legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as solution of other burning problems in the field of environmental management and ecology.

The State Public Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzskoe Forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzsky Forest” started to erect the main blockhouse of a 7-m high church and a 5.1-m high extension to the main blockhouse in Kreschenye Kazyli village of Rybnaya Sloboda municipal district.  The blockhouse of the alter and two 4-m high bell towers are now being transported. The work on procurement of timber for construction of floors and ceilings is carried out.

State forest inspectors of the Republic of Tatarstan and state inspectors of the Republic of Tatarstan for nature protection revealed 120 violations in the course of raids on revelation and elimination of unauthorized placement of solid domestic waste in forestlands from April 1, 2014 to May 28, 2014, and by now 100% of such violations have been dealt with.

As a result of raids, 75 protocols on administrative violations were drawn up, including 10 protocols in compliance with Article 8.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation against 9 individuals and 1 official; 65 protocols in compliance with Article 8.39 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation against 65 individuals. All in all, 72 individuals and 1 official were held administratively liable. All in all, 188.7 thousand rubles worth of fines were imposed. By present, 6 thousand rubles worth of fines were collected from offenders.

    During the reporting period, 65 places of unauthorized placement of solid domestic waste were revealed in the amount of 87 m3 on the area of 4,045.5 m2, whereof 65 landfills were liquidated, and 87 m3 of waste were removed to the sites of authorized waste placement.

    Moreover, State Public Establishment “Forestry” cleaned forestlands from dry wood near roads and highways of federal and republican importance in the amount of 18 cubic meters on the area of 8 ha.

As a result of raids, in the framework of the campaign “Nerest-2014” (“Spawning”), 86 protocols on administrative violations were drawn up in compliance with Article 8.39 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. All in all, 31 cases were referred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan to initiate criminal cases. As a result of the campaign, 112 pieces of equipment used for illegal nature resources use were withdrawn from offenders of nature protection legislation, including 106 nets as well as 160 kg of fish.

All in all, 225 thousand rubles worth of fines were imposed on individuals in the framework of the campaign “Nerest”, and the damage inflicted by the offenders amounted to 159.5 thousand rubles.
