The Spartakiade was devoted to students’ construction teams of Russia. All in all, 10 regions and 168 sportsmen took part in the competitions: from Samara region, Kirov region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, Orenburg region, the Perm Territory and Perm! National team of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by students of Lubyany Forest and Engineering College. The Lubyany team was rated the second in the team event in the cross-country race yielding to the hosts of the competitions and outrunning students from Orenburg.
During the Spartakiade, besides sports contests, the events aimed at unification of representatives of students’ teams from various regions were also held.
The scientific conference “Innovations and technologies in forest establishments 2014” has been devoted to the anniversary of the higher educational establishment, and it will last for two days, namely on May 26-27. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan cooperates with the Institute, and due to this fact the Minister Nail Magdeev was invited to the anniversary celebrations, and he will participate in the conference, where he will report on “Innovations in forest establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
The purpose of the project - the study of animals of the Red Book of the Russian Federation . One of the important objectives of the project is an educational program for the population, increase knowledge about nature. The campaign of the Fund of Nature is aimed at fostering of the spirit of patriotism and ecological culture in the citizens of the country. A preliminary list of plants, symbols of Tatarstan, has been made at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, and it has been submitted to the steering committee of the campaign. The list is headed by English oak, which is the main forest forming species. Such trees as fir tree, birch, mountain ash, hawthorn, snowball, juniper, lilac, mountain pine and many others have been included into the list.
Only two-three symbolic plants will remain in the list after coordination with the steering committee, and they will be submitted to the popular vote. Online voting will start on July 1st and the voting will last until August. The opening of the Parkway of Russian will take place in September on the Day of Forestry Workers — the trees chosen by popular voting will be planted.The State Public Establishment “Kama Forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kama Forest” have by this moment finished laying of the church foundation in Albaevo village of Mamadysh municipal district, and the main blockhouse and blockhouses for the alter and extensions of religious buildings are also ready. The dome of the church is being installed, and the roof is finished with roofing materials. At request of citizens of the village, works need to be completed by the beginning of June just before the Kryashens’ holiday, i.e. Peter’s Day. Memorial planting of pines and fir trees took place simultaneously with church construction.
The works on manufacturing of the main blockhouse of the church, the alter and two bell towers have also been completed in the village Kreschenye Kazyli of Rybnaya Sloboda municipal district by the State Public Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzskoe forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzsky forest”. The work on preparation of timber for manufacturing of floors and ceilings still goes on. Moreover, it is planned to be through this week with transportation of the blockhouse to the site of church construction in the village Kazyli.
The main blockhouses have been prepared for the church in the village Lenino of Novosheshminsk municipal district (executed by Almetyevsk forestry and “Almetles”), and timber for floors and ceilings is being prepared.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, abnormal heat with maximum temperatures up to 29-31°C above zero has established on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Such weather will last in the Republic until May 27th.
By the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan as of May 23, 2014 under No. 959-р, special fire safety regimen has been established in forests of the Republic. Due to this fact, visiting of forests by citizens and access of motor transport have been restricted.
The period of spawning ban has been going on since April 25th, during whereof constraints are imposed on fishing. Nevertheless, poachers are not willing to comply with the terms. The campaign “Nerest” (“Spawning”) is held in order to control illegal actions in the Republic of Tatarstan. The campaign is mainly aimed at preservation and rational use of fish resources. State inspectors closely monitor it.
In such a way, in the course of the raid, fellow workers of the Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan for Zelenodolsk district and inspectors of the State public nature reserve “Sviyazhsky” detained citizens of the Chuvash Republic who were fishing using illegal fishing equipment, namely fish stakes. The damage inflicted on aquatic biological resources by poachers’ actions amounts to 8 thousand rubles. Investigatory actions are carried out.
Raids of state inspectors will be held until the end of the campaign “Nerest”, i.e. until June 10th.
On May 23, deputies inspected shops of the plant “Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry” in the special economic zone “Alabuga” engaged in processing of soft-wooded broadleaved species and visited Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the largest oil processing companies in Russia operate. Deputies familiarized with installations for recovery of associated petroleum gas and wondered how ecological problems of the region were solved.
