The mini-application with the VKontakte eco-challenge was launched as part of the Ecology national project. The ANO's National Priorities initiative is being implemented in support of the All-Russian environmental campaign "Save the Forest", whose members plant tens of millions of trees every year.
Users of the app of the same name are offered to answer creative, comic, and informative questions in the field of ecology and forest protection. Participation in offline events of the "Save the Forest" campaign itself also counts. By the way, you can register for them right away, thanks to the interactive map of the application. You can share your achievements and thematic statuses with friends, for which additional points are also awarded.
At the same time, the application will not only allow you to compete with your friends in personal scores. Thus, the interregional online competition starts. The winning region will be the one with the most points in total.
"Next year, the winning region will host a large-scale ecofest with the participation of popular artists," announced Sofia Malyavina, General Director of ANO National Priorities. "But the main idea of launching the application is to involve as many participants as possible in the Save the Forest project. Let me remind you that according to this year's plan, thanks to the activity of volunteers, residents, and foresters, a record 70 million trees will be planted throughout the country as part of the campaign."
