The environmental campaign “Forest Week – 2019” continues in the Republic of Tatarstan.
To increase the effectiveness of fire protection measures for forests located on the lands of the forest fund, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation has developed guidelines for organization and conduct of preventive controlled fire burning of dry grass and other forest combustible materials.
Today, the Ministry held a video-conference meeting at which the tasks for the coming period were considered.
More than 150 cubic meters of solid municipal waste and dead wood were collected and exported from the forest fund of the republic within the framework of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”.
Students of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University took part in tree planting on the territory of “Mehebbet chishmese” in Novye Tinchali village of Buinskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On October 10-12, 2019, one of the largest expert discussions on forest accounting issues will be held in Kazan.
The Republican environmental campaign “Forest Week - 2019” was launched in Tatarstan on October 5 this year.
A workshop on FSC certification was held at the Ministry.
Today, mass planting of trees as part of the republican environmental campaign “Forest Week - 2019” and the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” took place in the Republic of Tatarstan.
On October 4, 2019, the final stage of the National Forest Forum was held in Moscow.
