The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively engaged in implementation of federal state forest supervision (forest protection), federal state fire supervision in forests in accordance with 294-FZ dated December 26, 2008 "On protection of the rights of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in implementation of state control (supervision) and municipal control”.

In the framework of the federal environmental campaign “Live, Forest!”, a forest planting event was held on the territory of the Verkhneuslonskiy municipal district. It was aimed at education of the younger generation in caring for the forest and drawing the public attention to the problems of forest resources preserving and enhancing.

In order to cultivate in the younger generation a love for environment, members of the school forestry planted fruit trees and shrubs in the territory of the Lesno-Kaleikinskiy secondary school.

On October 22-25, with support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the 9th International Forum “Forest and Man”, organized by the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of the country is held in Moscow. “Forest and Man” has been held since 2002. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan annually participates in a large-scale event. This year the forum was visited by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov.

Today, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan held training evacuation of employees in case of emergency.

Since the beginning of this year, forestry workers in the Republic of Tatarstan have grown more than 30 million pieces of standard planting material - seedlings and plantings. Including, 23.8 -million conifers, 5.15 million - hardwood, 1.3 million - shrubs.

System of GIS "People's Control" and functioning of the regional dispatch control center (RDCC) are important mechanisms to prevent violations of forest legislation and eliminate the identified violations.

Number of people who are not indifferent to nature - participants of the “Clean forests of Tatarstan” campaign, which was initiated by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic, is growing.

Students and employees of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College took part in the Championship and the Sports Orienteering Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 300 people participated in the competition, among them the multiple champions of Russia.

A wonderful autumn day pleases the people of Tatarstan today. Together with good weather, the staff of the State Public Institution “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”, with the help of children from the recently created school forestry “Svezhiy veter” of the Tukayevskiy municipal district, continued to do good deeds.
