The Republic of Tatarstan will strengthen control over the prevention and suppression of illegal logging, transportation and processing of wood.

Today, the Ministry congratulated veterans who worked for development of the forest industry of the republic in different years on the International Day of the Elderly.

The environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” was held in Vysokogorskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan on the territory of Ashitskiy precinct forestry of the Isleitarskiy forest district.

Today, the Ministry held a traditional ministerial meeting led by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov.

Pupils of the “Lesnoi rodnik” school forest district of Lesno-Kaleikinskaya Secondary School of Almetyevskiy municipal district joined the All-Russian campaign “Victory Forest”.

Lyudmila Zheltukhina, Deputy Head-forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Alkeyevskiy Forest District”, gave a lecture “How to behave in the forest if you get lost” for pupils of 5-10th grades of the Chuvash-Brodskiy secondary school in Alkeyevskiy municipal district.

On October 10-12, 2019, one of the largest expert discussions on forest accounting issues will be held in Kazan.

Within the framework of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”, more than 50 cubic meters of solid municipal waste and deadwood were collected and exported from the republic’s forest fund.

Employees of the Federal Forestry Agency “Roslesozashchita” Branch - “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” took part in the republican scientific and methodological seminar for geography teachers.

Today veterans who worked for the benefit of development of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan in different years were honored in the SPI of RT “Sabinskiy Forest district”.
